Our aims an an Independent Optometrist Practice
At Clearvue Opticians, we have three aims. Primarily, we want to form a strong professional relationship with you to care for your eyes. Secondly, we want to help you find the eyewear and lens solutions to optimise your vision and compliment your look. And finally, we want to become an integral part of the local community to inform the people about the importance of eye care for all ages. We will go about this in a friendly attentive manner, to make you happy and feel looked after.
I gained my degree in Optometry from the University of Ulster, Coleraine in 2001. I qualified an an optometrist in 2003 and became a member of The College of Optometrists. I am also a committee member of the Lothian Area Optical Committee. I have worked all over Scotland in private practice before acquiring Clearvue Opticians. It has always been my ambition to have my own practice. In preparation for this I have gained two higher qualifications in Glaucoma (2017) and Paediatric Eye Care (2018). This helps me to provide an high level of eye care to the local area for all ages. Community optometry is ever growing in stature in Scotland, as we take on more responsibility and develop our skills.
