Eye tests, glasses and contact lens fitting

We offer free eye tests (funded by the NHS), a broad selection of stylish frames and fit all types of contact lenses. Let us look after your eye health, style and vision.

Same day emergency appointments

If you have any urgent eye problem, then call us now on our emergency line - 07355 093 039. We will triage you and book an appointment ASAP to investigate further.

Children’s eye tests and glasses

Paediatric Optometry is one of our specialties. Your children’s vision will play a bit part in their path through life. Children can’t always tell you if something is wrong.

Eye tests at home

If you cannot make it into the practice unaided, we can come to you. We will test your eyes, bring you a good selection of frames and deliver them when ready. We can see you as an emergency and do any repairs needed.

Repairs, adjustments and reglazing service

If your glasses need repaired, then just call us to arrange a time to come in. If your glasses aren’t fitting correctly, then we will adjust them. Our reglazing service means you can use your old frame again.

Technology

Let us look after your eyes with the latest technology. Our OCT will scan your eyes to give us a more in depth look at your optic nerve, macula and retina. We can check your peripheral vision to hospital standard and detect early signs of Glaucoma amongst other conditions.

Management of short-sightedness

As short-sightedness (myopia) increases, so does the risk of certain eye diseases later in life. There are ways of managing this to try and slow the progression of the prescription.
