We invested in an OCT last year and this means we can take a more in-depth scan of the back of your eyes. This aids diagnosis of many eye conditions such as Diabetes, Macular Degeneration, Glaucoma etc and can directly tailor advice on maintenance of your eye health. There are eye conditions that we cannot see without the aid of the OCT, so it has immediately become an indispensable piece of equipment!

We use the same visual field machine as the Hospital Eye Service, which is instrumental in testing for Glaucoma. We can use this to monitor your visual field over time and check for any change. It can also be used for checking your fitness to drive. We are able to test all your visual symptoms with the other numerous tests in the consulting room. Your eye care is well covered.
